Aqua Tools wins the UKSR sponsored Clean Shipping honour at 30th Seatrade awards

An ongoing commitment to encouraging greener practice in the maritime industry has led to the UK Ship Register sponsoring the Clean Shipping honour in the annual Seatrade awards.

Aqua Tools has been given the award which was presented by director UKSR Doug Barrow at a ceremony in London. This year marks the 30th year of the Seatrade event.

Presenting the award, Doug said," The UKSR and Maritime & Coastguard Agency is committed to safer lives, safer ships and cleaner seas, so we are delighted to sponsor this award and to honour the hard work put into creating a greener way of working by the winners Aqua Tools. "

Aqua Tools was selected for their development of its B-QUA kit, a rapid and preventive solution to test Ballast water for both compliance and performance. 

Seatrade awards is a firm fixture in the maritime calendar, where the industry is able to share and celebrate the latest achievements and innovations of the industry.
