UK Ship Register pledges support for Shipping Finance 2022

The UK Ship Register (UKSR) is proud to be supporting Shipping Finance 2022 as a Gold Sponsor for next year’s event.

Scheduled to take place from 2 to 3 March 2022, from 09:00 to 21:00 EET, Shipping Finance will offer an interactive hybrid conference experience with guests both attending the event in-person in Athens, Greece, and tuning in virtually from all over the world.

Bringing together shipowners and top executives in shipping, transport, trade and logistics, banking, investment, finance, ICT, energy, telecommunications, and law, it will enable the opportunity to discuss best practice, network, and find out novel ways to tackle the unpredictable in shipping.

The involvement of the UKSR will showcase the expertise and support offered by the UK Flag and highlight the opportunities available for Greek and other international ship owners and operators. The UKSR offers international ship registration, wide-ranging integrated services, highly competitive registration fees, and 24-hour support to shipowners globally.

The theme for this year’s event is Euphoria in Shipping and can it be For Real and the conference will look to bring topics such as global recovery, decentralised finance, sustainability and environmental considerations, shifting trade patterns, and the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI), to the fore. As part of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), the UKSR provides world-class surveyors, regulation, and unrivalled maritime knowledge and experience. The Red Ensign is recognised globally for the maintenance of high standards, maritime safety, and seafarer welfare.

One-to-one physical and video call meetings will be available with the UK Ship Register at Shipping Finance 2022, alongside parallel events, workshops, talks, and more. A full agenda of everything on offer will be available in the New Year.
