Change contact details or dimensions of a fishing vessel

Contact details

If your contact details have changed and you have previously completed your vessel registration using the online service, or you have created an online account and linked it to your vessel registration record, you can log in to update your details using the UK Ship Register online service.

Alternatively, you can provide a signed letter confirming the change of your details that includes the vessel name and Official Number.

Vessel dimensions

If there have been any changes to your vessel’s dimensions, you will need to provide an updated Measurement Certificate or Class Certificate. Please contact your local MCA Marine Office to arrange this.

To update your registration and to enable us to issue a Certificate of Registry to show the change of vessel dimensions, please contact us to advise of the changes and pay the fee of £53 online.
